Although I’m a gardener instead of a waitress, I still know what its like to work hard and take pride in what I do. Clients rarely notice, let alone give tips. But the rare “Thank you, this looks beautiful!” is all the tip I need. It makes my job enjoyable and it helps me continue to work hard at it. So I’m going to start making it a point to tell people when I think they are good at what they do. Everyone should receive some appreciation when they deserve it.
